Assassin’s Creed Shadows: One Top Feature from Every AC Game it Needs to Revive the Franchise

Fans have high hopes for Assassin’s Creed Shadows as many have fallen in love with the franchise for different reasons. The community is largely divided between having a good storyline or having fun gameplay.

Ubisoft has previously stated that AC Shadows, aka Code Red, would use the RPG formula like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Knowing the AnvilNext Engine from Ubisoft has been upgraded during AC Mirage, it might be possible that the upcoming game will turn out great.

There are many things the Assassin’s Creed franchise has done right over the years across various titles. The first game for instance laid the foundation for the franchise, and did nail the advanced parkour experience.

The RPG series simplified the parkour experience a lot, but seeing Mirage, AC Shadows should be heading in the right direction.

Moving over to the next one, the Ezio Trilogy aced the Assassin Recruits feature that allowed to take down multiple enemies at once.

This feature is not available in any other games released after. With Assassin’s Creed Shadow being set in the Edo period, which had ninjas, the feature should fit nicely.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows can benefit from an extensive list of finisher animations as featured in AC 3. Among all the releases in the franchise, this one holds the crown for having the most unique finishers for different weapons.

The fast nature of combat in AC Black Flag can be implemented as well, because the protagonist will likely be a ninja.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue featured an anti-hero type of character which many fans loved. Since leaks have suggested that AC Shadows will have two protagonists.

Getting play as characters with different morals would be a fun experience for many.

Among all other AC Chronicles games, China had a feature that no other games had, the shoe blade. Shao Jun was uniquely known for the shoe blade, not only unique but can help with various new animations.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is largely known for its parkour animations. During that time, it was assumed by fans that Ubisoft had mastered the parkour system to deliver a smooth experience.

However, the experience had degraded after that point, and many wished to get the same back again.

One thing that is highly underappreciated about AC Syndicate is vertical maneuverability. Assassin’s Creed Shadows can make use of a rappel feature to climb up fast and more fast-paced experience.

Lastly, the RPG trilogy, AC Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, all had huge open worlds. However, many of them have felt barren and didn’t feel as intriguing. If Ubisoft manages to create an open world worth exploring, it could become the best Assassin’s Creed game in years.

Which feature do you think should be added to Assassin’s Creed Shadows? We would love to know your thoughts on the idea, so comment down below!
